Tali's Bat Mitzvah

5/30/2015

Tali's day started at the temple to celebrate her bat mitzvah and then the day ended into a fun pool party. There were so many people and foods, you could see that Tali is blessed with a loving family and has many friends.

Irisa's Senior Portrait @ SF

I've known this girl since she was a wee bairn and absolutely loved doing her Senior Portrait. She rocked it and nobody would have known that it was 42 degrees, foggy and windy as heck on the beach that day. The whole beach session took 20 minutes at most and turned out to be one of my best session, ever.

Aidan's First Communion Party

This was a website referral session, a complete stranger hire. My favorite kind of hire, because I get to be invited into someone's important part in their lives and tell a story through my photos. This was a first communion at the family's home and I got to fully immerse myself into their day. I also loved the fact that most of them probably did not even know that I was a Deaf photographer. This shows that I am fully able to take photos and that my deafness is not a hinderance. The photos are so colorful and lively, just exactly what that family and the party was. Enjoy.

My Studio: Real Emotions

5/24/2015

This is a favorite project of mine, see #cassidyrealemotions and #cefefilter on my ifyouwereachild Instagram for more photos. How does this work? Whenever clients come to my home with a child, I immediately place them in my studio. What you see is what they feel right at the moment. The shots don't take longer than 15 seconds. The main goal of the project is to capture their feelings, wary to happy, curious to silly, and for those feelings to be portrayed through their eyes. This just is a very dear-to-my-heart project. I do this for fundraising purpose: as I have a dream to build a professional photography studio in my backyard. If you want your child(ren) to be a part of this project, do not hesitate to ask, I am always looking for more kids! It is an entirely donations based session.
