I had SO much fun when I did a couple's Save-the-Date session on their private property. It was an exhilarating experience I would cherish forever. Imagine my thrill when I was asked to go back again to do a senior portrait! That place and that family is simply beautiful, I left the session with a huge ear to ear grin.
Cake smashes are a funny thing. I swear, in my 3 years of photography, 70% of babies HATE the cake. This one? She wouldn't even try. She flat out ignored the cake and was so adorable in her polite refusals.
The Fooses are Little People and got in touch with me for their last son's Senior Portrait and Family session. I had my oldest son with me to be my little assistant. This session was exactly why I love photography. I get to meet people and experience life more through sessions. The Fooses were really nice and they were very open by asking my son and I if we had any questions about Little People. My son responded that he did not. The mother said, "surely, you must be curious! It's okay to ask!" Eitan replied that he had a teacher who is also a Little Person. When chatting with the family, I couldn't help it, but feel like that their concept of community within the Little People are exactly the same as my community, the Deaf people.
You cannot go wrong when your session is set up with vibrant colors. This family found me through the website and told me that they were doing the very hungry caterpillar theme. I was thrilled when they brought fruits and toys to the session, it added character to the photos. This baby was not shy at all, he had no problem smiling and laughing in front of my camera.
