Jabriela did a mini catch up for the St. Paddy portrait and then was an early client for the Easter session. I have been doing her every holiday/celebration for two years now. It's fun watching her grow into a fun and brilliant girl.

I got to do Quinn again, this time, at home. It was more of a lifestyle approach, my favorite genre. Isabelle, Quinn's older sister, was very involved with the session and rocked her portraiture. There were SO many photos I love and I had a difficult time choosing on what to showcase.
Vasona park is one of my favorite place to do photo sessions, especially with families that have children. You could see that the Freitas siblings love was strong and full of laughter. This was probably one of my fastest photo session ever, 20 minutes as we raced against time (during the Golden Hour). I was fortunate that the family was fun and easy going, I was able to capture the essence of the Freitas.
![]() I love how my job not only take me to places, but also bring me into cultural experiences. I was thrilled when asked by a family to photograph their private Holi celebrations with their daughter, Syrina. I had some knowledge about Holi- however, I was not prepared on how much fun it is. I actually left the session with a colorful smile plastered on my face. Brittany's mom and I go a long way back, we've known each other for more than 20 years. I was fortunate enough to be present at Brittany's birth 18 years ago. Doing this session with her was awesome and the location (a ranch for horse boarding in Fremont) was amazing. I loved the fact that we got to use the horses she rides on, Gray Lightning (White, 21 years old) and Stick (Brown, 4 years old).
Sometimes a break from work-related photo gigs is exactly what I need. I was able to get Sosie come and do a session with me at a very last minute's notice. Lucky me, Aidan was up to being my model too. You would never guess that the location was at a parking lot of an industrial area.
What's the best way to show you're a Californian, especially from the Northern part? Have your photos taken at SF! That's how Chandler rolled with his Senior Session. We spent most of our time at the Embarcadero area near SF Ferry building.
This journey was one of my very first families I was fortunate enough to follow from maternity to birth and the year after. I am sure many more to come. Here's my story of Madelaine.
It is always an honor to be a part of a very fleeting, yet special, moment in anyone's life: a birth of a baby. I will allow the photos to speak for themselves on what the first hour of the baby's life outside the womb is like.
I finally got to return to one of my favorite photo session spot, Byron Old Springs Hotel, to do a senior session. It was just us, nobody else, and it felt like we were the only people left on earth. That place is seriously magical.
